Facial harmonisation in the spotlight

Facial harmonisation has become increasingly visible in popular culture, particularly in Brazil, where many celebrities have openly discussed their aesthetic transformations. Two recent examples have generated significant attention: Vini Jr. and MC Daniel.

A focused change in the lower third

In July 2026, Brazilian football star Vini Jr. appeared with a noticeably different facial contour following a reported facial harmonisation procedure during his time in Brazil.

The transformation attracted considerable international attention, with particular focus on the definition and projection of the chin and lower third of the face. Brazilian media reported that the procedure involved facial harmonisation, while medical specialists explained how subtle changes to the chin and mandibular contour can significantly alter the perception of facial proportions. What makes the case particularly interesting is that the change was not about transforming his entire face. A relatively focused change in the lower third can influence the way the entire face is perceived.

This is precisely why facial harmonisation requires a comprehensive assessment. Sometimes, improving one structural relationship can change the balance of the entire face.

A transformation is rarely one procedure

Another recent example is Brazilian funk artist MC Daniel, whose facial transformation attracted significant attention after he shared before-and-after images in July 2026.

According to reports, his transformation involved a combination of aesthetic approaches, including facial harmonisation, fillers, botulinum toxin, laser treatments and collagen biostimulation. Changes to his hair, beard and overall physical appearance also contributed to the final transformation. (Reported by Notícias da TV)

His case demonstrates an important point: a facial transformation is not always the result of one procedure. The overall appearance can be influenced by several complementary elements — skin quality, facial hair, body composition, facial proportions, muscle activity, volume distribution and structural definition. This is why a comprehensive facial assessment is so important.

What can we learn from celebrity transformations?

Celebrity transformations can be fascinating to observe, but they should not be treated as templates. What works beautifully for one person may be completely inappropriate for another.

Every face has different bone structure, facial proportions, soft-tissue distribution, muscle activity, skin quality, age-related changes and personal aesthetic goals.

The most sophisticated approach is therefore not to copy someone else's face. It is to understand why a particular change works for that individual — and then determine whether a similar principle could be adapted to another face.

At Sol Clinic, this is the foundation of our facial harmonisation philosophy: we don't copy faces, we analyse them. Individual results vary.
